Have you name in lights. You can have a customised monogram projecting your names or initials and date onto the wall, floor or ceiling. There’s loads of ready-made styles to choose from or you can even design your own.

A fantastic way to create an ambience and add atmosphere in your venue is to use up-lighting (sometimes called mood lighting). There’s lots of options; different colours for the daytime & evening, fading from one colour to another, all wired together and controlled to go in time with the music or have different parts of the room lit differently, say red on the dance floor and cool blue in the bar area.

Could you make use of a large 55″ screen? Perhaps to show a photo slideshow or video. Maybe a recorded video message or even a live link up with friends or relations in other countries who can’t make it to the wedding. The screen is mounted on a tall column so is visible across a large room.

If you’ve ever experienced a silent disco then you’ll know it’s very odd! But there are a couple of good reasons for organising this at your wedding. Firstly you’ll be able to go on later without annoying the neighbours (depending on the venue). But the best reason is that Iggy can set up a second DJ system and if your guests come prepared with their own music on a USB stick they can take turns being the DJ. The headphones come with a channel switch so everyone can choose which DJ they’d rather listen to.
